Supply Chain Planning is the process of developing a Supply Chain strategy and plan that meets the needs of the customer. This includes identifying the best way to source raw materials, manufacture products, distribute products, and deliver products to the customer.

Supply Chain Execution is the process of carrying out the Supply Chain plan. This includes managing inventory levels, manufacturing products, distributing products, and delivering products to the customer.

Supply Chain Visibility is the process of monitoring and tracking all aspects of the Supply Chain. This includes tracking inventory levels, supplier performance, customer demand, and product whereabouts throughout the Supply Chain.

Supply Chain Management Types

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the process of planning, implementing, and controlling the operations of the supply chain with the aim of meeting customer requirements as efficiently as possible.

There are three main types of SCM:

Production Planning and Control

It includes activities such as forecasting, product life cycle management, Inventory management, and production planning.

Logistics Management

Demand Management

The SCM Jobs involve a great deal of coordination between the different members of the Supply Chain. In order to ensure that the products and services are delivered on time and within budget, the Supply Chain Manager must have a good understanding of the needs of the customer, supplier, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics. They must also be able to effectively communicate with all members of the Supply Chain.

The SCM Jobs are responsible for ensuring that the Supply Chain runs smoothly and efficiently. They are also responsible for ensuring that the quality of the products and services that are delivered meet the standards of the customer.
